Sugar Cosmetics Logo
Sugar Cosmetics is an Indian producer and retail distributor of high-quality self-care products. It was established in 2012, and since then it has spread its factories across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Their production includes cosmetics and make-up products that don’t harm the skin and contain paraben. The company sells its products online via its official website and mobile app or in physical locations across the world.
Meaning and history
Sugar Cosmetics was founded by Kaushik Mukherjee and Vineeta Singh, graduates of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2012. The new company was located in Mumbai. They founded it with a mission to create fun, bright, and, what was the key, cheap brand cosmetics.
They managed to get their products into the small boutiques of the city, and slowly but steadily, the information about their brand started to spread into the local magazines and among the locals mouth-to-mouth. The first products in their line were colorful lipsticks, which became popular among Bollywood stars and ordinary women.
Following a warm welcome in 2012, Sugar Cosmetics grew rapidly from a tiny producer in Mumbai to a large business manufacturing and selling its products nationwide. Sugar has since expanded its product line to various make-up and self-care goods, including eyeshadows, bronzers, creams, blushes, and others.
Now, they have 195 outlets in India, which serve over 10 million clients. They operate an e-commerce website that contains information about themselves, and their products. There, one can order a house delivery across India, as well as Europe, the United States, and Asia.

2012 – today
The brand’s official logotype depicts an emblem of the letter ‘s’ with the central part separated from the lower and upper tips by gaps. They look like two dots, while the central bar has a wavy style. This sign stands inside a big circle. Below or to the right of it, the company’s brand designers put the nameplate with a refined sans-serif script.
Color
Sugar chose a classic black-and-white color palette to depict its logotype. Probably, they chose it because it symbolizes professionalism, quality, and perfection. This color code is universal and fits any place where the logo is placed: the upper part of the website, a social media page, a signboard, or even a product package.
Font
The font of the company’s name caption is a classic one. It features semibold sans-serif characters, written in upper case. This script doesn’t have any outstanding details, due to which it may be used in almost any situation that the brand experiences.
