Phish was created in 1983 at the University of Vermont. The original lineup solidified in 1985 when Page McConnell joined. Their musical journey includes notable performances and a loyal fan base. They are recognized for their annual New Year’s Eve concerts and festival-like events such as “The Great Went” in 1997. They took a hiatus in 2000, reunited in 2002, then split again in 2004. The band came back together in 2009 and continues to perform.
