Robin made his debut in 1940 in “Detective Comics” #38. Dick Grayson, the first Robin, was a young acrobat whose parents were killed by a mobster. Batman took him in as his ward and sidekick. In 1984, Dick transitioned to the new identity of Nightwing, and Jason Todd took over as Robin. Jason’s tenure ended in 1988 when the Joker killed him. In 1989, Tim Drake, known for his sharp detective skills, became the third Robin. Later, Stephanie Brown briefly assumed the role before Damian Wayne, Batman’s biological son, stepped in. Each Robin has brought unique abilities and perspectives, enhancing Batman’s efforts against crime.
