1970s – today
The brand’s iconic logotype was invented in the 1970s by Rene Lacoste, a French tennis player who was at the peak of his career at the time. This logo consists of a laconic inscription, accompanied by an emblem of a horseman, swinging with a polo stick. Both of the logo parts can go separately, depending on the case. For example, the official website of the marque shows the solid nameplate.
The name has received a classic typeface, featuring the style and elegance of the dress brand. It features serif capitalized letterforms with boldness varying from bold to extra slim. The letters are placed far from one another.
The logotype parts always come in a simple black-and-white coloring.
