Many of the series are taken over by his company SpringHill under an ongoing contract with Warner Bros. James and his partner have plenty of connections to keep their business strong. James has millions of followers on social media and can meet any politician or businessman on the planet. He masterfully uses his platform and wants his country to prosper. In addition to racism, James has spoken out on the subject of women’s rights. Moreover, LeBron is not without artistry and is known as an exemplary husband and caring father.
Meaning and History
LeBron James was born in 1984. From the age of 5, LeBron traveled from one corner of the US to another, without stopping anywhere for a long time. His basketball talent was discovered by his football coach, Frankie Walker, in high school. After the 8th grade, the teenager turned out to be a finalist for the American Championship, but that was just the beginning of great achievements. The basketball legend was the second after Michael Jordan to record a triple-double at the All-Star Game. He also co-founded SpringHill Entertainment with childhood friend in 2008, which is now part of the Warner Bros. system. In 2015, he had a supporting role in “Trainwreck”. Several years later, James strengthened his ambitions in the movie business by starting work on the second part of the legendary Space Jam cartoon. The basketball player also opened the I Promise School in his native Akron, Ohio. James is not limited to nice tweets and T-shirts but supports his words with action. The star also signed a lifetime contract with Nike.
What is LeBron James?
LeBron James, a basketball player, is rightfully considered one of the greatest American athletes. He is a three-time NBA champion, two-time Olympian, four-time NBA regular season MVP, and three-time NBA Finals MVP. Although James can also be called a media mogul, he does not forget about basketball.
2003 – 2010
A complex monogram that featured, thick, bold lines was the first representation of the basketball player. The smooth lines that were cut straight and curved in some places while in others created a perfect 90-degree angle were a combination of Lebron’s initial as well as the number of the player. Since his nickname was King James, they also decided to add a relatively small crown icon in the bottom left corner. It was first used on Air Zoom Generation sneakers.
2010 – Today
Since the player changed teams and Nike understood that it might happen again in the future, the new emblem was designed to look more universal and timeless. The designers took the crown from the previous logo and set it on two huge initials. The player’s initials allowed to create a symmetrical image with the letters having 90 degrees everywhere except for a smooth curve in the center. If one did not know who the logo belonged to, it could be said that it is a large black crown made up of three elements. The logo turned out looking solid and simple, which could not be said about the previous version.
Font and Color
Although both logo versions feature custom fonts, they both share a few similar characteristics. The letters are bold, geometric, and have straight cuts combined with smooth curves. The designers also chose a black color which is not only timeless, but also powerful with a touch of sophistication and control over one’s life, actions, etc.
