Four Star Air Cargo was a company, which provided services, including delivering and transportation of cargo and mail across the US and United Kingdom. The company was founded in 1982, but after several legal problems and accidents, its operations were ceased in 2009. The hub of the company was Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport.
The company is a part of the larger ‘Four Star Aviation’. There aren’t many accurate facts as to why the companies used four stars as a part of their brand identity. Maybe, four stars is a seal of Quality Approval, awarded to airlines delivering the highest standards of staff training for the onboard, and a good quality performance.
The logotype, which the brand once used, depicted four white stars with the blue contour. The stars were placed above the underlined inscription ‘Four Star Air Cargo’, written in the blue-colored serif font. Below the underline, there is a clarification that the company is a division of Four Star Aviation Inc.
The company had another logotype they used on occasions with a black and red palette, and the two-level inscription. This logo had the four icons of stars, neatly fit in main part of inscription ‘Four Star’ and ‘Air Cargo’ part, placed below, and framed, had the bright red color.
